![]() The advantages you get by pre-ordering are (1) you get notified as soon as it is available and (2) you get it for $60 (Austin has already hinted that the price will rise to $70 or $80 when it is on full public release). ![]() If you already have XP10 there is no point in bothering to download it, even though it comes free with your pre-order of XP11. When XP11 is released you will get your download key for that and you will have to download the whole of XP11 as a clean install. The digital download you get now, if you have pre-ordered XP11, is exactly the same XP10 that you already have. If you already have XP10 why would you want to bother downloading it digitally while you are waiting for XP11? I'm keen to convert to the XP10/11 digital download, and wonder if I can do this straight on top of my existing XP10 DVD installation ?. ![]()
